Interview: Erico's Kitchen

INTERVIEW: The CEO of Erico's Kitchen discusses toggling between business and entreprenuership with frillxtra. It was a refreshing meeting.

Erico's kitchen is a one in town food delivery business in Ladoke Akintola University. One in town because their menu is a radical among pairs. We finally got a few minutes of the CEO/Head Cooks ever-boisterous day and trust us, we made capitalized on that time to discuss a few salient points about him and his business.

You wil be shocked to find that his story is not very far from the stories we read of Millionaires across the world in Motivational books.

Yeah, that's what we do at frillxtra we put our spotlights on the geniuses among us.

What motivated your out-of-the-ordinary menu list?

Firstly, all my inspiration comes from God.

Also, i know people are tired of eating what they eat. They either want to eat something different or want to eat the same thing in a different way. I get motivated to meet these needs & wants of the public. We are here to serve.

Tell us about the beginer challenges you had to face?

I had to squat with a friend for a whole year because I used my house rent to start this business.

It was never convinent for me. I also faced unsteady patronage of customers. It was difficult to increase our customer base when i started. I had to deal poor accounting, bad debt & losses too.

Of your awesome menu which is your favorite?

Every special dish i make is my favorite.

You are an undergraduate, what do you have to say to your colleagues?

Do business & Start thinking like an entrepreneur!!! Look for a need around you and find a way to meet that need. Problem solvers are money makers.
